Its camouflaged appearance does not attract attention as much as a classic security camera, and operation on batteries or energy from a solar panel gives you unlimited options for its installation location. Thanks to these features, the camera trap becomes a great choice for hidden monitoring of the selected area.

The 4G LTE Camera trap Secutek SST-801LTE is equipped with a camera with a 120° angle of view , the ability to take photos with a resolution of up to 16MP and video recording with a resolution of up to Full HD. To use the photo trap at night, it has 36 infrared diodes built into it , which illuminate the night scene up to a distance of 20 meters . The device also has three PIR sensors that activate the camera trap if they detect movement in its vicinity. Together, the sensors also cover an angle of 120° and their sensitivity can be adjusted.

Four recording modes

The camera trap offers 4 recording modes . According to the setting, it takes only photos, records only video, or first takes a photo and then starts recording a video according to the set parameters. The special fourth function is the so-called "time lapse" , when the camera captures the scene in given time intervals.

Micro SD card support

Photos and videos taken are saved on an inserted SD memory card with a maximum supported capacity of 32 GB (for smooth recording, we recommend using a card marked class 10). To download recordings, we can connect an SD card through a memory card reader with a PC, or connect the photo trap to a PC with the included USB cable when it is turned off. The device will appear as a removable disk and then we can play, copy or delete files at will.

Sending records over the mobile network

If we insert a SIM card into the camera trap , we can specify the settings for sending information in the menu. When activated, the photo trap not only creates a recording, but can also immediately send the photo via MMS to a preset phone, email address or FTP server. Photos can be sent to up to 4 phone numbers and 4 email addresses. The camera trap can also be remotely controlled using SMS commands.

Lasts up to 6 months on one set of batteries

4G LTE Camera trap Secutek SST-801LTE is powered by eight pieces of classic AA batteries . One set of batteries will last up to 6 months in stand-by mode . In addition to batteries, this camera trap also offers other power options, e.g. with a standard 12V/12A solar panel, but it is not possible to charge the batteries inside the camera trap or with an external adapter (DC 12V/2A). In the case of power supply with an adapter, it is recommended to remove the batteries.

Simple assembly

The camera trap can be easily attached to the desired location using the supplied strap or attached to a tripod or holder using a 1.4" thread . The IP65 water resistance standard guarantees resistance in adverse conditions, including heavy and persistent rain.
